The VCT Pneumatic Rear Axle Bearing Puller Service Set is a reliable tool designed to safely and damage-free service semi-floating rear axle bearings on your vehicle, unlike the unreliable claw-type axle bearing pullers that can slip and chew up bearings. This set is intended for removal only, not for installation, and a slide hammer is not included.

The set is easy to use - simply slide the flat end of the puller through the center of the bearing and against the backside, then slide the washer down the center of the shaft against the front side of the bearing, and tighten the nut on the smaller end of the puller. Next, thread a slide hammer (not included) to the puller and slide it back and forth until the bearing comes out. The washer captures the bearing firmly to distribute the applied force over the entire bearing and prevent damage.

The VCT Pneumatic SAE Standard Rear Axle Bearing Puller 3-Piece Service Set is designed for domestic car vehicle bearings removal, making the job simple and preventing damage to your bearings. It is much easier to use than claw-type axle bearing pullers that can slip off and chew up the old bearings.

The set includes standard SAE sizes that work for most American domestic makes and models, with sizes ranging from 1 inch to 1-7/8 inches, 1-5/16 inches to 2-3/8 inches, and 1-3/8 inches to 2-7/8 inches. The sizes are permanently laser-etched on the tools for easy identification, and each tool fits a basic slide hammer with a 5/8-inch x 18 thread pitch.

For easy transportation, safe storage, and quick organization, the set comes in a heavy-duty plastic blow-molded carrying case. The package includes (3) rear axle bearing removers and (1) carrying case for your convenience, with the slide hammer not included.
